Ori and the Will of the Wisps are just around the corner. Players could not get enough out of the Blind Forest, the prequel of the game, that was filled to the brim with an emotional story and environmental puzzles.
The game will be releasing on March 11, 2020. Fans cannot wait to find about what Ori and the Will of the Wisps will have in store for them. Below are some of the new changes coming to the Ori and the Will of the Wisps.
More combat options in Will of the Wisps.
Unlike the Blind Forest with the only button, Will of the Wisps has much more to offer. There are three swappable slots for weapons and skills. Other than a Spirit Sword, there are also explosive spirit bombs, a bow, a big hammer, and healing skills.
Upgrade features for Abilities.
As the game progresses, new upgrade features unlock for abilities. You can make your bow shoot multiple projectiles at the same time, or enhance your movement and combat skills.
More NPCs and side missions
The Blind Forest will seem rather dull to the players as there will be more interactable NPCs and other characters. These characters will sell goodies and assign exciting quests, like retrieving a specific hidden item.
Upgrade your character by equipping Spirit Shards
There are Spirit Shards hidden all over the map. Players can equip four different types of shards at the same time. These will grant players special features like more durability and boosting the weapon damage, and much more.
Extended Boss battles.
There were mostly small creatures in Blind Forest. The only exception was Kuro, but the Will of the Wisps will have gigantic Boss characters. Players will have to understand and figure out the movement patterns to overcome these enemies.
